AI built in
Responsible AI integrated every week. Kids learn to use it — and lead it.

Four Weeks.
Four Milestones.
One Unstoppable Founder.

Each week is completely standalone — your Next-Gen CEO can join for one week or all four. The curriculum builds progressively for multi-week attendees, and every new participant is fully caught up by Tuesday. No one starts behind.

Week 1
What's Your
Big Idea?
July 6–10, 2026

Every business started with someone who noticed a problem everyone else ignored. This week, your child finds theirs.

Spot real-world problems worth solving — starting from their own daily life
Understand who their customer is and what makes them buy
Build and rehearse a 60-second pitch until it feels like a conversation, not a performance
Use AI as a thinking tool — to ask better questions, not do their thinking for them
Friday Grand Finale
Dragon's Den Jr.
Every Next-Gen CEO pitches their business idea live to a panel of real Woodbridge entrepreneurs. Every child gets a cheer, a badge, and written feedback to take home.
What they take home
The ability to spot a frustration, turn it into a business idea, and stand up and sell it to a room full of strangers. That is a skill most adults never develop.
Week 2
Make It
Real
July 13–17, 2026

Ideas are fun. Products are better. This week your child builds something they can hold, name, price, and be proud of.

Choose a product track: Make It (physical), Do It (service), or Design It (creative)
Build a real first version using camp-supplied materials — the goal is a product in their hands by end of day, not a perfect one
Set a real price using basic cost thinking — materials, time, and margin
Name and brand the product — logo sketch, label design, one-line description
Friday Grand Finale
Mini Market Reveal
Tables set. Products displayed. Parents walk the room as Next-Gen CEOs explain what they made, how they priced it, and why someone should want one.
What they take home
A real product they built with their own hands, a Made by Me certificate with their product name on it, and the knowledge that they can take an idea from nothing to something in five days.
Week 3
Get the
Word Out
July 20–24, 2026

You could have the best product in the world and no one would know. This week your child learns to make people stop, look, and listen.

Write a hook that grabs attention in three seconds flat
Design a hand-made promotional poster that passes the 3-foot readability test
Master the 10-second, 20-second, and 60-second pitch in every format
Write, rehearse, and film a 30-second commercial on a shared device
Friday Grand Finale
Ad Day Live
Families invited. Posters on the wall. Each Next-Gen CEO delivers their pitch and screens their commercial live. Every parent goes home with the video on their phone.
What they take home
A hand-made poster, a 30-second commercial on their parent's phone, a Marketing Boss badge, and the confidence to speak to a room full of strangers without flinching.
Week 4
Lemonade
Stand Live
July 27–31, 2026

No simulations. No pretending. This week your child opens a real business, talks to real customers, and gives back to a real community.

Choose, stock, and price a real market stand from scratch
Make their products, set up their display, and practise with real customers Thursday
Handle real questions and objections — coached by their Venture Leads
Give back — Market Day proceeds are donated to 360°kids, our not-for-profit partner
Friday Grand Finale
Young Boss Market Day
Families and community guests arrive at Woodbridge Mall, 7766 Martin Grove Rd #20, Woodbridge, ON L4L 2C7. Next-Gen CEOs run their real stands from 1–4 PM. The group earns real revenue — and Young Founder Co. donates the proceeds to 360°kids, our not-for-profit partner of choice.
What they take home
Real transaction experience, a Young Boss certificate, their hand-drawn market sign, and the knowledge that their work made a difference to someone in their community. That is extraordinary at any age.
Young Founder Co. Kids Market — That's a Wrap for 2026, Friday July 31st, 1-4 PM, Woodbridge Mall in front of Care Optical

Is This the Right Fit?

Who Is a Young Founder?

Young Founder Co. is not for every child — and that is intentional. We keep cohorts small because every Next-Gen CEO deserves to be seen, challenged, and celebrated. This programme is built for a very specific kind of kid.

Young Founder Co. — kid presenting startup idea at whiteboard
  • The Questioner Always asking "Why don't they just fix it?" or "How does that actually work?" They see problems everywhere — which means they see opportunities everywhere.
  • The Maker Whether it's slime, Lego masterpieces, digital art, or hand-drawn comics — they love building things with their hands and showing the result to the world.
  • The Entrepreneur at Heart They've already thought about a lemonade stand. Or a car wash. Or selling something to their class. They just need the framework, the tools, and the room to actually do it.
  • The Emerging Presenter They have ideas — big ones — but standing up and sharing them feels like a stretch. With the right environment and a lot of practise, that changes fast. By Friday of Week 1, they won't recognize themselves.
  • The Child Who Thrives on Challenge They light up when they are given something real to work on — a problem to solve, a product to build, a goal to hit by Friday. They do not just want to participate. They want to create.

Why I Built This Camp

I am a mom first. I am also a serial entrepreneur who has built businesses from the ground up — from concept, to first customer, to scaling, to the hard lessons that no business school teaches you. I have lived every stage of building something real, and I know exactly which skills matter and which ones do not.

Young Founder Co. started the way the best ideas always do — in a conversation with my son, who is nine. We were talking about what he wanted to do with his summer, and the idea of running his own little venture kept coming up. So we sat down together and worked backwards: what would actually be fun? What would feel real? What would he want his friends to be part of? That conversation became this programme.

As a mom, I know what I look for when I am trusting someone else with my child's day. I want structure without rigidity. I want my child to be challenged without being overwhelmed. I want play time, downtime, and focused time — in the right balance. I want to know that if my child needs a little more attention or a little more space, that is understood and covered. Every single one of those things is built into how this camp runs. Not as an afterthought. As the foundation.

A Team That Speaks Your Child's Language

Your child will not just be learning from adults who remember what it was like to be a kid. They will be working alongside people who are not that far removed from it themselves.

Our Venture Leads are experienced, trained, and deeply committed to making every Next-Gen CEO feel capable and confident. But alongside them, we bring in student helpers — older kids who are relatable in a way that only someone closer in age can be.

There is something that happens when someone just a little older leans over and says "honestly, I would buy that." It lands differently than when an adult says it. It is real. It is peer-to-peer. And it works.

For our student helpers, this is also an incredible opportunity — to lead, to teach, to build their own skills by sharing them. Everyone in that room is growing. That is the point.

Future-Ready

Responsible AI.
Every Week.

Every week includes a dedicated AI session using shared camp devices. No personal devices required. Each session is designed to create a genuine wow moment — before the responsible use lesson follows. Wonder first. Always.

Week 1 — AI as your thinking partner AI prompts kids to think about questions they hadn't considered — going deeper into their idea than they would on their own. The idea still comes first. AI just helps them pressure-test it.
Week 2 — AI as your naming tool Words are everything. Kids describe their product to AI and discover that specificity is the key to getting useful help.
Week 3 — AI as your copy editor AI can write a cleaner ad than you in three seconds. But real beats polished every time — and kids learn to feel the difference.
Week 4 — AI as your practice customer AI predicts what a customer will ask before they ask it. That's extraordinary. Answering them live? That part is all you.
